Passive Interaction Design vs. Active Interactions

An interaction is when two or more things act, communicate with, or respond to each other (like a conversation or any meaningful exchange).

Our web browsers probably has the most active interaction points, it's the container/the drawer where we store all our creative thought and ideas, and close it when we're not in need of anything in it.
So, what happens when the browser closes, or when there is no browser, should interaction stop?

"I'v been trying to test how 'passive interactions' can work for people with Dementia (a form of Alzheimer's), who may no longer have the context of interaction. They can't click here or there, or speak commands or check-in, there might not even be an internet connection.
So how we handle this?"

Passive Interaction:
Initiates or responds automatically based on triggers (time, events, patterns), but it’s still a form of interaction — just less effort from a human. (ambient)
I like to call these "pre-defined interactions" as they can be created way in advanced, but only get triggered under specific circumstances.

So what if we were able to implement more ambient or 'passive interactions' within our products? Should my mouse be taking vitals while I'm clicking away? Should your 50 or 60inch TV be a camera that can predict future outcomes based on what it sees and you refuse to see in your home? What information can we interact with from a smart lapel pin that records every conversation, a ring for vitals, a necklace, glasses with built-in UV visuals or contaminants detection, your car, your stove, your neighbourhood crime level on Tuesdays after 11PM, and how do we translate that information into useful, actionable insights that is delivered without friction and effort or being nervous about our data?

I am currently looking at testing these tactile:
- The Samsung Galaxy Ring

- The Oura Ring

- UltraHuman

These by themselves are not rounded solutions, but I would love to hear from you if you've been working on any ambient or 'passive interaction' services or product ideas.
I've seen bandages for racehorses that tighten and flex based on the horses heat and pulse rate. Smart clothing, perhaps. :)
